Experience the ups and downs of the rugged terrain of Mt. Pinatubo and the breathtaking Hundred islands of Pangasinan in a fair amount of time.
Day 1:
Departure time according to your preference can be until about 14:00 in the afternoon.
Early morning departure from Manila via the North Luzon highway. Get off at Bacolor in Pampanga to visit the half-sunken church. From there you will be heading to Mt. Pinatubo. You will be dropped off at the camp for the Mt. Pinatubo tours which will take place the next morning.
You will be spending the night in a simple pension house at the camp of Mt. Pinatubo.
Day 2:
Breakfast will be around 5.30 clock. Tour will start at around 6.00.
After breakfast, you will be taken to the crater rim by an all-terrain 4-wheel drive vehicle.
On the way to the crater, you will have the chance to visit a native Aeta Tribal village. You will be hiking a fairly steep terrain with a distance of 3.5km. You will forget all the tiresome hike upon seeing the picturesque view of the lake as seen in the pictures and media.
Rowing boats can also be rented but with an additional fee.
You can also walk down to the lake. You will be returning to the camp/lodge early in the afternoon. Depart to Alaminos, Pangasinan late in the afternoon.
Arrival in Lucap in Alaminos, Pangasinan is late in the afternoon. We consider the Vista de las Islas, the best hotel in Lucap. It is located right on the waterfront with a view of the 100 Islands on the horizon. The hotel is known for its nice gardening with pools.
Day 3:
Immediately after breakfast, we ride with our own “banca” or boat between the fantastic and unique islands. Many of these islands look like massive ships. Some of the islands have fantastic mini bays with very fine, white sand. Some have several pathways around the Island with excellent viewpoints. You also have the opportunity to swim and go snorkeling to go side by side with the marine life.
By 12:00 you will be back to the hotel to take a bath and prepare for departure back to Manila. Expected time of return to Manila is around 7pm-8pm.
