Drive up north of Manila to Central Luzon and go back south of Manila to explore the falls of Pagsanjan and hike all the way up to Taal Volcano in Batangas in this amazing back and forth package.

Taal Volcano - Taal Volcano, Talisay, Batangas, Philippines

Day 1

Departure approximately 8:00 am in the morning via Sta.Rosa and Tagaytay to Lake Taal in Talisay. Cross the lake by boat to the volcano’s crater. The volcano is only about 200m high with a hiking distance of 2 km. You could also rent a horse but with an additional fee.

In the afternoon you will continue to Pagsanjan in Laguna. You will stay at the Pagsanjan Falls Lodge.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will go for a boat/raft ride alongPagsanjan River. The place is known for fantastic landscapes, canyons, rapids. Here parts of the film Apocalypse Now were filmed.

You have the opportunity to swim in the lake and explore the river directly under the waterfall. Return to the Pagsanjan Falls Lodge in the afternoon. Depart to the camp of Mt. Pinatubo to the north in the evening.

Overnight and breakfast will be in a simple pension lodge at the Mt. Pinatubo camp area.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will be taken to the crater rim by an all-terrain 4-wheel drive vehicle.

On the way to the crater, you will have the chance to visit a native Aeta Tribal village. You will be hiking a fairly steep terrain with a distance of 3.5km. You will forget all the tiresome hike upon seeing the picturesque view of the lake as seen in the pictures and media.

You can also walk down to the lake. You will be returning to the camp/lodge early in the afternoon. Depart back to Manila at early in the evening.

If you decide to cancel your trip, the following fees apply at the time (prior to departure) we receive
written notice of your cancellation. Some trips may have special cancellation or transfer fees; if so, they
will be listed in the tour description.

  • 95 to 65 days before the day of the tour           50% of Trip Cost
  • 65-0 days before the day of the tour 100% of Trip Cost

Tour cancellation insurance

We don’t provide tour cancellation insurances. However, we strongly recommend having a Travel
Cancellation Insurance from an external insurance provider. Should you have to cancel your trip due to
illness or death of a family member or yourself, this insurance protects all your deposits and payments
for both air and land cost.

Refunds


We do not give any refunds for unused hotel rooms and accommodations, meals, sightseeing trips or
hike/trek arrangements. Land costs are quoted as a package; credits are not given for services not used.

 

Moderate - Accessible to all those in good health. Who are doing some sport regularly. Who are used to all-terrain walks. 4-6 hours walk per day. Without much carrying.
