Experience a comfortable trip aboard the best transportation we have to offer. Tour the cool Baguio highlands and go way up north in the Ilocos Region to see famous beaches, food & heritage. Tour is offered in our Hyundai Santa Fe and for a maximum of 5 persons only.

This tour is only available in our Hyundai Sante Fe. The vehicle offers the passengers the maximum comfort. 2 leather pilots seats, which are also suitable for sleeping.

Other passengers can seat in the 4 leather recliners, with far better seat comfort compared to the other vehicles we own.

The vehicle has very much leg room and comfort which is very important since you are 4 to 8 hours a day in the vehicle.

Ilocos Region - Ilocos Region, Philippines

 

Day 1

Depart from Manila early in the morning via the North Luzon Expressway. Get off at Bacolor in Pampanga to visit the half-sunken church. From there you will be heading to Mt. Pinatubo. Drive on the outer dam, from which you have a good view over the floodplains of Mt.Pinatubo.

Continue up to about 1400 m altitude, to Baguio the summer capital of the Philippines. Total driving time is approx. 5 hours. Arrive and stay for the night at Le Monet Hotel which is situated in a quiet location at the edge of the forest.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will be then taken for a city tour of Baguio. Various small parks, viewpoints and by far the largest and most extensive market in the Philippines. At around noon, continue along the well known Halsema Road. Here you will see lots of viewpoints. Drive via Lepanto City and Servante, the new pass road going to the west. This route still provides a touch of adventure. After Candon, you will arrive at Vitalis Resort. Resort has very nice, accommodating and relaxing facilities.Total travel time from Baguio to Candon is approx. 6 hours.

Day 3

You will stay until noon in the Candon area with very nice beaches, water sports activities and wellness facilities. Depart to Vigan in a 1.5-hour ride. Arrive at Luna Hotel which is also the best hotel in the city with known for its art collection display. An absolute must for art and culture lovers. Take an afternoon city tour in a Calesa (Horse Carriage) through the Old town (UNESCO World Cultural Heritage).

Day 4

After breakfast and a tour around the old town, continue through the beautiful and historical landscape of Ilocos Norte. Some must-do things here are various stops in marketplaces, a visit to the Church of Paoay (UNESCO World Cultural Heritage) known for its baroque architecture, Sand Dunes and the former government palace of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos. In the evening we arrive at the very traditional Java hotel in Laoag. Whole Ilocos Norte itinerary is approx. 3 hours.

Day 5

After breakfast, we make a full day excursion of the Blue Lagoon in Pagudpud. The beautiful white sandy beach and blue sea are a must visit. En route to Pagudpud beach, we make short stops at various sights- churches, lighthouse, white rock etc. Marvel at the impressive sight of the lake which stretches its waters to the South China Sea on one side and the rice, tobacco, maize fields on the other with a touch of forest greens.

Arrive at Pagudpud Beach, undoubtedly one of most beautiful beaches in the Philippines. Take a lunch in a restaurant by the beach and depart back to your preferred drop-off point after.

If you decide to cancel your trip, the following fees apply at the time (prior to departure) we receive a
written notice of your cancellation. Some trips may have a special cancellation or transfer fee; if so, they
will be listed in the tour description.

Tour cancellation insurance

We don’t provide tour cancellation insurances. However, we strongly recommend having a Travel
Cancellation Insurance from an external insurance provider. Should you have to cancel your trip due to
illness or death of a family member or yourself, this insurance protects all your deposits and payments
for both air and land cost.

Refunds

We do not give any refunds for unused hotel rooms and accommodations, meals, sightseeing trips or
hike/trek arrangements. Land costs are quoted as a package; credits are not given for services not used.

Moderate - Accessible to all those in good health. Who are doing some sport regularly. Who are used to all-terrain walks. 4-6 hours walk per day. Without much carrying.
