Drive up north through diversified landscape through the Dalton Pass to Banaue. It will be a 7-hour trip to the destination. Expected time of arrival at Banaue is around 9pm-10pm. You will stay in the best hotel on the premises, the Banaue Hotel.

Day 2

For the trekking, you have the option to choose between Hapao or Batad rice terraces.

Option 1: Banaue, Hapao & Hiwang Cultural Village

After breakfast, we will take a ride in the rugged Jeepney to Hapao. Travel to your chosen destination. After arriving, you will be taken to a short hike through the rice fields. You will be dropped off to take pictures frequently. If you prefer to stop over certain viewpoints on the way, it is perfectly fine with us.

Option 2: Batad

For many people, the absolute highlight is the Banaue Rice Terraces. However, Batad Rice Terraces is increasing in popularity and is preferred for hiking activities.

Take note that this option is for those who are physically capable of strenuous trekking/hiking activities or those with experience.

At the foot of the rice terraces, you have the option to bathe and take a dip in Tappiya falls which usually takes an hour or so to get there from a certain on the trail back to the starting point of the trek.

Continue to Hiwang Cultural Village

You will be arriving at Hiwang Cultural Village (an open-air Ifugao cultural museum) in which our local Ifugao tour guide will narrate something about the Ifugao way of life, its rich history and culture. On the background of the museum is a picturesque view of the Banaue Rice Terraces.

Return to the hotel in the afternoon after a tiring but fulfilling day.

Day 3

In the morning you will be taken to a tour of various views/sights, and museums en route to Sagada. One of which is Bontoc Museum which showcases the Tribal history and culture of the mountain provinces.

You will then depart to explore the hanging coffins in Echo Valley and enjoy the charm of a Filipino mountain village community similar to the Shire, the place where hobbits dwell in the “Lord of the Rings” movie franchise. Very nice little coffee houses and restaurants are found throughout the area.

You will be staying at a pension house in Sagada overnight. Your place to stay will depend on the availability of a pension house, however, we do our best effort to find the best one for our guests.

From rice fields, you will now see your view change in terms of crops seen as vegetables and fruits are more abundant in the highlands going to Baguio. Many photo and viewpoints will be made along the way. You will arrive in Baguio and will check-in at Veniz Hotel for the night, a very central location in the region.
